Les Arcs

Les Arcs located in the Tarantaise region of the Alps, reaches an altitude of 3225m and due to its height it is guaranteed to be snow sure, making it a good choice for an early or late season break. Linked with La Plagne to form the Paradiski area, the ski area boasts over 400km of pistes and some of the longest descents in the Alps. There is a wide variety of pistes, from cruising woodland runs to the hardcore steep stuff, making Les Arcs a great choice for groups of mixed abilities and families. Plenty of off-piste can be found, especially on the north east face of the “Aiguille Rouge” and there a couple of great snow parks and the “flying km” for those adrenalin junkies! Les Arcs is made up of five self-contained villages at different heights: Arc 2000; Arc 1950; Arc 1800; Arc 1600 and Peisey-Vallandry. The villages are purpose built and offer doorstep access to the snow with no traffic hazards, friendly après and fabulous views of Mont Blanc. There is a wide variety of activities to keep you occupied both on and off the slopes in Les Arcs. From ice skating, bowling and snowshoeing just to name a few to the more extreme sports such as ice climbing and paragliding.
